These clips are from the BBC: Horizon documentary series entitled “We Love Cigarettes”. The advice Allen Carr gives is pretty damn good, it convinced me (a 5 year smoker) to quit cold turkey. It has been a couple months now and I’m still going strong. Update: It has been over one year since my last cigarette and I have never been tempted to look back. I really hope this simple advice has helped someone else.

I would be more worried about being 23 and not knowing how to spell.
i was a kick boxing mma player after i start smoking i didnt play any thing and now i cry every day coz of fucking cigar’s i am 23 yr’s old and i try to stop but i ahve alot of problems with my friend’s so i dont wann fight with any one so i go and bay a cigaret

4th day for me. NO replacement. I don’t want to get addicted to the replacement medicine!!
Sickened I was off them for 7 weeks, and went back on them today. Pressure of life got to me, wasn’t even the cravings.
ive quit smoking for 10 years already now im using electronic cigarettes from mini cigarettes
Today is my eight day smoke free. I bought Carrs book but i had already decided that smoking was no longer part of my life. I started smoking when I was 13 years old and i’m a few months short of my 50th birthday. I feel proud I quit and I can feel my body recover by the day. I’ve smoked around 330,000 cigarettes over that time and God knows how much money I’ve spent killing myself. I see myself as a recovering drug addict and that gives me the strength to stay clean. @rawdog42 I dont know u but for what u have done is great.Why is it great? So… many smokers cant stop cause thier will isnt strong u should feel proud.My gf and mother quit.My father didnt.He got sent to the hospital for respitory issues.I love both my parents.I told him if he smokes again the next time i c him is at his funeral.He quit and i hate it had 2 come to that but….
please please i need help to quit can you conceive that while im watching this i smoke!!!
@rawdog42 Same here,mate. I started aged 16 and now I am at a point where I just don’t want it anymore.Cycling my mtb has been my advantage over other smokers my age, I am slim and can already feel how my whole body is starting to breath…you know what I mean, it’s like touching air, as if it is something solid. Wish you all the best, I can recommend walnuts in the morning, they keep your mood and temper stable and de – fog your mind. Good luck and best wishes!
@lvrancic Basicly everyone has the ability to stop smoking, I think if you realy put yourself into it and if you really have the will to stop smoking you can, Everyone says they want to stop smoking, But it’s only a figure of speech, they don’t take action.
After watching this vid, i went out and smoked two cigs lol…

He got the money after he quit, because he made the money from writing about his experience to quit smoking. So, the wealth and relaxation came after.

This guy looks pretty relaxed waxing his Royce, sitting beside his pool at his big ass house and playing crochet with his buddies. take him and stick him in middle class and make his tail work like a slave and add all the other added stress and he might remake this video. I’d quit at the drop of hat to if i lived like this guy…
